2001 Chevrolet Corvette which is being sold on behalf of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern California District,  in the matter of Raynes, BK # 12-09140-LA7.

This beautiful exceptionally low mileage Light Pewter Metallic Corvette with black interior and all the standard equipment - am/fm radio/cd, heater, lift out moon / sun roof, power everything including steering, brakes, seats, windows, door locks, as well as the optional 16 disc CD changer in the trunk, heads up dash display, and upgraded premium wheels. Except for the battery ( a year old) this car is 100% completely factory original including the tires which are Goodyear Eagles with a manufacturing date of 27th week of 2000 (DOT 2700). The tires are sixteen years old but because it was always garaged they are still great looking and feature excellent 80% tread.

This car was purchased as an investment and weekend toy and always garaged and never smoked in; owner does not smoke. Unfortunately circumstances forced bankruptcy filing and the investment / car is now for sale to the highest bidder with proceeds to go to creditors.

The 200 MPH odometer is 100% correct and this fifteen year old car only has 10,759 miles on it; 717 miles per year average! It does have a few small cosmetic gravel dings on the front bumper and a single small road debris paint gouge on the hood (see photo with penny opposite nick) which appears to have been touched up.

The Auctioneer drove the car about ten miles from point of turnover to their warehouse and felt a slightly pulsing brake pedal when stopping; it may have been driven with the emergency brake on at some time. Brake rotor turning / touch up should fix it. Otherwise it drives excellent and everything works, A/C blows cold etc. as it should. All fluids are 100% and there are no leaks, squeaks, or problems observed or encountered, a very nice car.

Other than the few road nicks described above this car is otherwise in excellent above average condition for a similar make and model. The Auctioneer doubts there are few, if any, finer anywhere which is why when contacted to sell this car and have also listed it to sell on eBay as our selling channel; the whole world should be able to bid on this really awesome - fantastic Garage Queen, not just San Diego!

Observation; the car may be viewed Friday July 1 from 10 am to 2 pm and Wednesday July 6th from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 743 El Cajon Boulevard, El Cajon California 92020.

Title; title is clear. Dealer purchaser will receive a dealer report of sale and copy of the court order and odometer statement. Individual California purchaser will be retail transaction (Dealer report of sale) and pay sales tax, $55 smog fee, license and transfer.

Unless we ship the car to you (we can do this) out of state buyer must pay 8.5% sales tax and will receive an "Owner Demands Title" Report of Sale which will include Title, court order, and odometer statement. The car is in Non Operational status which avoids any California licensing penalties.

Warranty; None. We are selling the car for the court pursuant to a court order 100% AS-IS without warranty or guarantee of any kind stated or implied.

Storage; Purchaser receives ten days free indoor storage to pick the car up or arrange transportation. Day ten and beyond is $25 per day.

U.S. buyers, any buyer, wishing to "fly in and drive away", we will provide free transportation from the airport (San Diego International - Lindberg Field) to the office for delivery.

International buyers; we can arrange transfer to Port of Los Angeles for an additional fee. We also charge an additional fee for Customs forms as necessary depending on destination and transaction requirements.
