Promissory Note for Sale

Sale of Promissory Note describe as: Promissory Note dated September 20, 2010 in the original principal amount of $500,000, minus payments credited to the Note in an amount no less than $36,292. The obligor under the Promissory Note is Jonathan Carter, the Debtor’s ex-husband. Jonathan Carter filed his own Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case on November 25, 2014, Case No. 14-01940, and received a discharge on March 2, 2015. There are a number of issue and potential defenses to collection of the Promissory Note against Jonathan Carter, including but not limited to discharge of the debt. Moreover, Jonathan Carter has limited income and several children that he provides financial support too, which limits collectability of the Promissory Note.
