U.S. Regional Carrier Republic Airways Enters Chapter 11

U.S. regional air carrier Republic Airways Holdings Inc. filed for bankruptcy protection after struggling with labor issues, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Spanish renewable-energy company Abengoa wants an extension to repay €500 million ($551.5 million) in bonds due next month. WSJ has the Daily Bankruptcy Review article here. Abengoa’s U.S. business filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this week.
