Ex-Dodgers and Mets star Mike Piazza could be getting into a new sport: soccer. According to Football Italia, (h/t NESN), the former ball player may be interested in buying Italian soccer club Parma but said “nothing is guaranteed” and that he was still in the process of due diligence. The former catcher said that as an Italian-American, “I am extremely proud of my ancestry and absolutely love Italian football.” Parma, which hasn’t left last place in Serie A, entered bankruptcy in March with an estimated €100 million ($108 million) in debt.

Film studio Relativity Media has hired Blackstone Group to help it refinance, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The company, whose movies include “Black or White” and “Desert Dancer,” recently won a 30-day reprieve on its debt obligations. Relativity said in a statement that it has “has engaged Blackstone to work productively with our company and our lenders to close our previously agreed upon financing transaction.”

Teresa Giudice has been taking care of her body and mind while in prison, and now she has posted her first tweet from prison. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star took to Twitter Sunday to thank everyone for their support while she is imprisoned for bankruptcy fraud and other charges. “Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support,” she tweeted (h/t NJ.com). “I love, love love you all xo T!” Ms. Giudice was sentenced to prison time earlier this year. After she has completed her sentence, husband Joe Giudice will serve time for bankruptcy fraud, among other counts of fraud.
