Homeowner’s Bankruptcy Appeal Denied by Supreme Court

A judge Monday declined to set a date for confirmation of the chapter 11 plan for Energy Future Holdings Corp., DBR (sub. req.) reports.
West Virginia regulators accused Freedom Industries Inc. of trying to get concessions on cleanup obligations at the site of its massive chemical spill last year, the Associated Press reported.
A judge dismissed the bankruptcy case of a vacant power plant in Market Street in New Orleans, the Times-Picayune reports.
