A federal judge Friday approved a revised bankruptcy loan for Exide Technologies Inc. but granted junior creditors the right to float their own Chapter 11 emergence plan for the distressed battery maker, DBR reports via WSJ.
Tim Blixseth, the founder of Montana’s Yellowstone Club luxury resort, is due in bankruptcy court Monday for a hearing that could reveal what happened to more than $200 million that he is alleged to have diverted from the club for his personal use, The Associated Press reports.
John Spinello, the creator of the board game Operation, filed for bankruptcy after his warehouse business went under during the recession. Friends recently raised money for a $25,000 operation of his own, according to the AP. Mr. Spinello never received royalties from the game.
A court-appointed trustee has frozen the assets of a now-defunct Florida YMCA, The Northwest Florida Daily News reports.
