A deal to sell Atlantic City, N.J.’s Revel Casino Hotel to a Florida developer is in jeopardy after a federal appeals court panel intervened to temporality block a provision of the deal that was unfavorable to the resort’s former tenants, DBR reports in WSJ.

A federal judge has dismissed much of the lawsuit LightSquared and Harbinger Capital Partners filed against companies in the global-positioning-system industry but said LightSquared can proceed with claims that the GPS equipment interferes with LightSquared’s network. Read the DBR article in WSJ.

Billionaire Ira Rennert said the $118 million in dividends taken by his Renco Group from a magnesium-mining subsidiary wasn’t used to build or buy his palatial 29-bedroom estate in the Hamptons, DBR reports in WSJ.

It doesn’t look like there are big discounts amid the RadioShack Corp. stores that are slated for closure, Corporate Intelligence reports.
