Coming and Going Concerns
Jared R. Clark has joined law firm law firm Phillips Nizer as a partner in the New York office. Mr. Clark worked on well-known bankruptcy cases including the city of Detroit, Lehman Brothers, General Motors and Enron. He has worked on insolvency matters both in and out of bankruptcy court. Mr. Clark previously worked at law firm Bingham McCutchen, which was absorbed into Morgan Lewis & Bockius in 2014. He earned his law degree from Tulane University School of Law.
Bruce C. Dopke has joined Stahl Cowen Crowley Addis, a Chicago-based law firm, and is of counsel in the bankruptcy and restructuring team. Mr. Dopke has represented debtors, creditors and other parties in chapter 7, chapter 11 and chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He has been a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
Gregg Galardi has joined law firm Ropes & Gray as a partner in the firm’s restructuring group. Mr. Galardi has represented debtors and distressed borrowers and has worked on well-known bankruptcy cases including City Sports, CIT Group Inc., Delia’s and Reddy Ice, and he has worked national and internationally. Mr. Galardi, a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, most recently worked at DLA Piper.
Heidi J. Sorvino has joined law firm LeClairRyan as a shareholder in the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights group, where she will work out of the Manhattan office. Ms. Sorvino, who most recently worked at law firm Hodgson Russ, has represented debtors, creditors and others in chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. She is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.
