Craig Solomon Ganz has joined Ballard Spahr LLP from Gallagher & Kennedy. Mr. Ganz, a partner with the law firm, focuses on corporate restructuring and complex commercial litigation. He’s represented creditors, debtors and creditors’ committees. Mr. Ganz is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.

Eric D. Goldberg, Eve H. Karasik and Danielle A. Pham have joined law firm Gordon Silver and are opening the firm’s first office in California. Mr. Goldberg and Ms. Karasik are shareholders, and Ms. Pham is an associate. The three joined Gordon Silver from defunct bankruptcy boutique Stutman, Treister & Glatt, which closed its doors in April. Mr. Goldberg focuses on bankruptcy litigation and transactional work, and Ms. Karasik focuses on representing businesses looking to restructure as well as creditors. Ms. Pham focuses on corporate restructurings involving big and small companies.

Stewart A. Kagan has joined law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as a partner with the corporate department. He represents investment funds, corporate clients and financial institutions on debt-financing and private-equity transactions. Mr. Kagan has worked on such well-known bankruptcy cases as Lyondell Chemical Co. and Energy Future Holdings Corp. Most recently, he was a partner with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

Robert Klyman has joined law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Klyman, who will work with the business restructuring and reorganization practice group, focuses on corporate bankruptcy and represents debtors, lenders, creditors and other parties. He has worked on restructuring matters in and out of court, including prepackaged bankruptcy cases. Most recently, he was a partner with Latham & Watkins LLP, where he’d practiced since 1989.
