LA collects $2.65M in taxes owed by hotel - San Francisco Gate

The city's collection efforts prompted the owners to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April 2011. The hotel was sold to new owners in August 2011. The tax payment comes as part of a settlement reached to settle claims against the bankrupt hotel.
