Erie County continues to lead in bankruptcy filings

For the third consecutive month, the number of bankruptcy filings in Western New York declined more than 7 percent. And the bulk of those filings took place in Erie County, where 1,815 bankruptcy cases have been recorded since the beginning of the year.
