San Antonio Express
Embattled company Ballenger Construction Co., which has defaulted on road projects in Bexar County and elsewhere in the state, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The Harlingen-based company filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Corpus Christi.
