Area bankruptcy cases fall 1% in 1st half of '17

Through the first half of 2017, cases filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Toledo are down one percent from a year ago. According to figures released Monday by the federal Clerk of Courts office, 2,108 bankruptcies were filed through the first six months.
