MUNCIE, Ind. — The Red Carpet Inn has a new owner — and possibly a date with the wrecking ball. The South Madison Street motel, ordered closed by the city of Muncie over unfit and unsafe conditions, was sold in an online bankruptcy auction on Tuesday.
