New York Wire to sell for $8.8 million

New York Wire agreed to sell to Phifer Inc. for $8.8 million last Thursday as part of Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The sale came at a bankruptcy auction for the Hanover-based maker of wire mesh products, which filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October.
