Haggen sales approved as Smart & Final, Gelson's gain stores in region

Bankruptcy court has approved the sale of more than 70 Haggen grocery stores, including six in Orange County. The Northwest grocer expanded to California earlier this year then filed for bankruptcy in September. A property auction began in late October.
