Knighthead Capital Management LLC says it is “extremely troubled” by what it says is a lack of transparency for millions of dollars of fees charged in the liquidation of MF Global Inc., The Daily Bankruptcy Review reported.

Leslie D. Corwin is joining law firm Blank Rome LLP on Feb. 1 as a partner with the corporate litigation group. Mr. Corwin, who will be based in New York, most recently was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig LLP. He has represented clients in bankruptcies, liquidations, dissolutions and mergers and acquisitions.

Frego & Associates, led by attorney James Frego, has filed for bankruptcy and blamed its financial problems on payments owed to Mr. Frego’s former firm, which has shut down.

A federal district judge said the Commodities Futures Trading Commission may move forward with a lawsuit seeking to hold former MF Global Holdings Chief Executive Jon Corzine and an ex-colleague liable for the misuse of nearly $1 billion in brokerage customer funds.
