Binder & Binder Pulls the Plug on TV Ads

There will be no more cowboy-hatted lawyers gracing your late-night TV screen. At least, not for now.

Binder & Binder, one of the nation’s largest federal disability benefits firms, pulled the plug on its ubiquitous TV-ad campaign. The cost-cutting move, which will save the firm more than $1 million a month, is just one way Binder is trying to turn its business around as part of a Chapter 11 restructuring.
