| 03/24/2026 | 10 | Docket Text THIS MATTER comes before the Court on the Motion to Extend Time to File Statements and Schedules filed by Palmetto Therapy Services, Inc. (Debtor). Debtor seeks 14 additional daysuntil April 6, 2026to file the remaining forms and schedules due in this Chapter 11 case. The Section 341 meeting of creditors is scheduled for April 3, 2026. Bankruptcy Rule 9006 provides that the court may grant an extension for cause. Here, Debtor claims that it retained an accounting firm to prepare necessary financial information. No application to employ an accountant has been filed. Moreover, it is not clear why the services of an accountant would be necessary to fill out most of the schedules, statements, or even the disclosure of attorney compensation. To avoid prejudicing creditors and parties and interest and in order to have the necessary information on file to make the Section 341 meeting of creditors meaningful, the Court grants a limited extension until March 30, 2026 without prejudice to Debtor seeking a further extension upon a more thorough explanation as to the cause for such extension.
