Order Scheduling Telephonic Status Conference (Docs. 134 and 135) This matter is before the Court on the: (1) Trustee's Application to Employ Allen Stovall Neuman & Ashton LLP as Attorneys (Doc. 134), filed on August 13, 2026 by James A. Coutinho, as Chapter 7 Trustee; and (2) First and Final Fee Application of James A. Coutinho for Services as Subchapter V Trustee (Doc. 135), also filed on August 13, 2026 by Mr. Coutinho as the former Subchapter V Trustee (together, the "Applications"). See also Appointment of Trustee (Doc. 131), filed on August 3, 2026. The reason for the Court scheduling the status conference is concern over whether Mr. Coutinho is a "disinterested person," as defined in 11 U.S.C. § 101(14), who can serve as the Chapter 7 Trustee under 11 U.S.C. § 701(a)(1) and be employed as counsel under 11 U.S.C. § 327(a), particularly with respect to the foregoing Applications. With the agreement of counsel, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a status conference on the Applications shall be held on September 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Prevailing Time) (the "Status Conference"). The Chapter 7 Trustee and counsel for the United States Trustee are required to participate in the Status Conference. Counsel for the Debtor is invited, but not required, to participate.
