Order Granting in Part Motion to Extend Time to File Chapter 11 Plan and Disclosure Statement (Related Doc # 32). The motion is granted, in part. Movant has already received one 30 day extension of time to file a plan and disclosure statement and is now asking for another lengthy extension without a detailed explanation as to why such an extension is needed. A review of the docket reveals that this is not an overly complicated case as it does not appear that debtor has any operating businesses, the vast majority of debtor's assets have already been converted to cash, there are no secured creditors, and the scheduled unsecured claims far exceed the available cash. It seems clear that any plan would be a liquidating plan and there does not appear to be a need to finally quantify the potential tax liabilities or other claims before filing a plan and disclosure statement. Accordingly, the deadline to file a plan and disclosure statement is extended to May 1, 2024. ORDERED by Judge Thomas L. Saladino. (Text Only Order) (mpm) (Entered: 04/19/2024)
