ORDER CONTINUING HEARING ON ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: On April 23, 2026, the Court held a hearing on its Order to Show Cause (ECF No. 16). Despite being compelled to attend, neither the Debtor's representative nor the Debtor's counsel appeared at the hearing. Given the gravity of the issues presented by the Order to Show Cause, the Court will afford one final chance for the Debtor and its counsel to appear and address both the issues presented and their failure to appear at the initial hearing. Accordingly, it is hereby
ORDERED: The hearing on the Order to Show Cause is continued to May 21, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the United States Bankruptcy Court, 450 Main Street, 7th Floor, Courtroom 715B, Hartford, CT 06103; and it is further
ORDERED: The Debtor's counsel, John Sodipo is directed to file a statement on the docket on this case indicating that he will attend the continued hearing, with such statement due by 4 p.m. on May 14, 2026; and it is further
ORDERED: Should the Debtor's counsel fail to file the required statement, the Court will issue a capias to secure his attendance; and it is further
ORDERED: At the hearing, the Court may, in addition to its previously stated issues, also consider the imposition of financial sanctions, the suspension of attorney privileges to practice in this Court, a referral to the state or federal grievance committees, disgorgement of any legal fees, remedial bankruptcy education, and the issuance of a finding of contempt of Court.
